WORKSHOP

You May Be Listening, But Can You Hear?

Develop the communication and listening skills that strengthen relationships between leaders and teams. This practical one-day workshop explores the difference between simply listening to what people say and genuinely understanding what they are trying to communicate.

We cover:

  • The causes of failure in communication between leaders and teams
  • How to listen and be seen to be listening
  • How to handle badly-expressed feedback
  • Looking beneath the surface

Effective listening involves more than simply hearing the words being said. Participants will examine why communication between leaders and teams can break down and develop techniques for listening more actively, responding constructively to difficult or poorly expressed feedback and recognising the concerns that may lie beneath the surface.

All workshops can be delivered for groups of up to 10 people, either in person (which is our recommended format), or on-line.
